Tips Films’ maiden Punjabi film titled Dil Apna Punjabi is set in a lively village of modern-day Punjab where a joint family spanning over four generations lives under one roof. Tips Films’ maiden Punjabi film titled Dil Apna Punjabi is set in a lively village of modern-day Punjab where a joint family spanning over four generations lives under one roof. Produced by Kumar S Taurani and Ramesh S Taurani and written and directed by Manmohan Singh, it stars Harbhajan Mann, Neeru Bajwa, Mahek Chahal, Dara Singh, Kanwaljeet Singh, Deep Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir and Amar Noorie. Apache Indian and Tania Zaeta also feature in songs in the film.

The film has been picturised in scenic locales of Kulu Manali, Chandigarh, Punjab and various locations like Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Windsor Castle, Batter Sea Park, Margate Beach, Caver Sham Bridge in London, UK.

Made under the banner of Tips Films, it has music by Sukshinder Shinda and lyrics by Babu Singh Maan and Amarjit Musapuria.

Rabb Ne Banaiyan... complete
Producer-director Darshan Bagga has completed the post-production work of his Punjabi film Rabb Ne Baniyan Jodiean. Made under the banner of Star Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Darshan Art Internationals’, this romantic musical thriller has bhangra remix king Babbu Mann in the lead role. He has also written the lyrics, sung and composed a song. Presented by TP Agarwal, it has cinematography by Naren A Gadia and dialogue by Amrik Gill. To be released on September 15, the film also stars Nilofer, Jayesh Pandher, Priya Gill, Puneet Issar, Ranjeet and Gurpreet Ghuggi.
